School Days HQ REVIEW 'Oh man, now this was an amazing game! Beautiful cg art, not to mention the epic gameplay and scenes. Each route had it's own special meaning and believe me some will make you cry like a baby, I went through a whole box of tissues by the end of the night. Katawa Shoujo (Japanese: かたわ少女, Hepburn: Katawa Shōjo, lit.' Cripple Girls', translated 'Disability Girls') is a bishōjo-style visual novel by Four Leaf Studios that tells the story of a young man and five young women living with varying disabilities. The game uses a traditional text and sprite-based visual novel model with an ADV-style text box running on the Ren'Py visual novel. I have full story draft, on paper (dialogues, events, important choices, etc) I'm currently making CG, and character sprites (expressions/poses) For the last few weeks, I was correcting codes in console, cuz interactive. The presentation of this visual novel is fairly decent. It explores friendship, high school life, love, and everything in.
In CG, you can get a better sense of the emotions portrayed in the moment, the positions of the characters, and how they interact with the environment.
I know that the primary purpose of using a CG is to emphasize an important part of the story, and over-saturation may affect its impact in the long run, but I'd like to know how you feel about seeing more CG sprinkled throughout your favorite VNs. To put the exact number into perspective, the visual novel that I'm working on has about 26 separate scenes right now. If I include about two for each scene, then I would end up with ~39 images.

Makoto has been admiring a girl he has seen on the train. That girl is Kotonoha Katsura, and he even managed to take a photo of her with his cell phone. Due to new seating in his class, he ends up next to Sekai Saionji, a nosy, but sweet and sincere girl. As she snoops for his cell phone while talking to him, she discovers his crush and vows to help him until Kotonoha agrees to go out with him. When Sekai finally gets them together, she realizes her own feelings after finding out that the person Kotonoha liked was, in fact, Makoto. While waiting for her train next to Makoto, who was waiting for Kotonoha, she has him talking about how he can repay her for all of her help. Before leaving for her train, she kisses him and cries when she boards the way home. Kotonoha happily arrives for her date with Makoto shortly after. With all three main characters carrying different expressions on their faces, the story begins.
